Latest News On NPC Training Date. The National Population Commission (NPC) has just postponed the training date from April 13 until further notice.
This is almost the fourth time the National Population Commission has changed the training date for Census 2023.

The Chairman of the Census Committee, Dr. Ipalibo Harry, said on Wednesday the postponement would not affect the conduct of the population and housing census scheduled to hold from May 3 to 7.
He also said a new date for the training of the enumerators and supervisors would be announced publicly as soon as possible. Vanguard reported
PRESS RELEASE ON POSTPONEMENT OF THE LGA-LEVEL TRAINING OF SUPERVISORS AND ENUMERATORS
“The Commission wishes to inform the general public that the LGA-level training of Supervisors and Enumerators scheduled to commence tomorrow, 13” April, 2023 has been postponed due to some emerging issues.
The new date will be communicated to the public in due course. We assure Nigerians that the Commission remains committed to conduct a credible and acceptable 2023 Population and Housing Census and that all preparations are in top gear.
Consequently, we advise the public to disregard any message contrary to this information. We regret any inconvenience this postponement may have caused the functionaries.”
